You have the burden of proof to back your claim. It at least SEEMS to be
tied to the Parallels driver. So prove it is, as YOU say, ONLY on my system.

You never will.

A better and more accurate claim would be that it is something which is not
the norm for Windows 10. Yup. Absolutely correct - that triple click is not
the norm. I have no problem admitting it.

You see, unlike you, I am not here to attack or insult or try to show off my
massive knowledge of things I do not know about... I am here to teach and
learn. And when I show something or say something that turns out to be
incorrect I have no problem admitting it... even, as I did in this case,
going out of my way to test your unsupported claim that this was not the
norm.

That is exactly what I did. I tested it and it is not. Fine. Somehow you see
this as a bad thing that I speak honestly and openly about this. Whatever.
Not here to help you deal with your psychological issues.

Not interested in a semantic battle of hair splitting what is meant by "two
UIs", but clearly UI elements change in the two modes: the "Restore Down"
button, for example, is completely missing from some apps in Tablet Mode
(which makes sense given how it does not work) but in others it is still
visible and not even grayed out (which makes no sense given how it does not
work!)

I have given many other examples of how the Table Mode UI is different from
the Desktop Mode UI.

And, really, why would they be the same? If they were then why have the two
different modes?

Again. Not interested in a semantic debate over what you even mean by "two
different UIs". Apple has updated the Portrait Mode UI to have the icons and
text be easier to read on the home screen... before they did not. They
improved the portrait UI.

I should not quote it again then as a sign of you being wrong (or at least
if I do I should note it in the context of you being mature enough to admit

You falsely attributed claims to me about portrait / landscape mode. You
lied. Let us leave it at that... unless you want to admit to your
fabrications.

A simple admission you needed help finding the About info would have served
you better.

1) Open Notepad 
2) Select Help > About Notepad

That is what you get (well, I have the license info hidden).

I went to check other programs - but clicking on "All Apps" and then
selecting often does not even open an application! This is not on my VM but
on a "real" system! WTF?

Tried it on my VM and it works fine.

Sigh. That is just weird... no explanation for it at all. You will blame me,
I bet. Whatever.

The older one I have, for Windows 7, is a much older build. If you can show
the same build number for Windows 8 I would love to see it!

And companies also are updating their UIs to deal with the Tablet AND
Desktop UIs. You want your program to work well with both.

Good to see you NOW understand those buttons do not work. Even though they
are not even grayed out. Also true of the menu items, by the way. As even
you now understand, some programs that are designed for a Desktop UI do not
always work fully correctly in the Tablet UI... even programs that COME with
Windows 10. 

Good to see you finally show some understanding of this.
