Then they cannot just print the PDF in the email... and sending the link
also does not send a PDF they can easily print.

I do similar things often with things like recipes, lesson plans, questions
my students send me, etc. Comes down to you have no good method so you are
crying sour grapes.

And, heck, Owl's task is completely absurd - automate the downloading of the
print versions of all the recipes featured on the front page of
allrecipes.com. Far more specific and no good reason I can see to ever want
this - but I took him up on his challenge.

My solution is twice as fast (and that is after he sped his up after seeing
mine) and mine makes PDFs half the size.

But he still "beat" me on converting files to PDF from the file browser.
Fine. It is more about sharing and learning and teaching than who "wins".

I am noting the workflow applies to more than just the specific I gave...
hence why it is a valid task. Comes down to you have no good method to do
this so you just make excuses. Fine. You would be better off just remaining
quiet. :)

As described above: it is a lower quality result. No printable / savable PDF
with the full content.

Below you just go on making excuses. Fine: for you, Linux fails at doing
this task. I am OK with that.

Not the task in question... but THAT task can be done on OS X with a simple
drag and drop to get the link to the mail client.
