OK, you are not *saving* the recipe file that is generally printed but
instead you are saving a four page file with the recipe, comments, a list of
other related recipes, etc.

You showed a recipe... which was the goal. And, yes, I often print / save /
email recipes As I said, for others it might be something else. But in this
case you are not doing the task shown *at all*. Not even close. Here:

Saving to PDF, to a specific Recipes folder (in this case one just for you)
is pretty easy to do. Now, like you, I had to make modifications to do
this... it is a pretty absurd task! Unless I was saving recipes all the time
I would not want a hot key - and if I was saving to Recipes, Web Receipts,
Download, and Desktop (which are all true on my system) I would not want to
have to remember four different hot keys. If I was stuck with a hot keys I
would likely just not do it... or if I had to go to the desktop to click and
leave the program I would likely not do it. Not like digging through a save
dialog is a big deal!

I do. This is real world for me. But I would grant that Web Receipts is more
common... and others might want things like art instructions. Whatever.
