Sigh. No changes I do not speak of. When I was adding the word count feature
I noted it. When I worked to replicate your file browser PDF converter I
noted it. But overall the features I listed are still there.

I have removed the Kid's Dictionary on my system because I do not use it -
my kids do, but I added one for the urban dictionary. I also removed the one
for man pages because I do not use it.

So minor changes here and there, but nothing I have hidden and no major
changes to my system just to show doing task X. My system is set to do ANY
of the tasks I am likely to want to do without fiddling with the services.

Doing so defeats the purpose.

Nor for demo purposes it makes sense for you or I to add one to show it can
be done. Of course. It is not like I expect you to have a link to a kid's
dictionary or Urban dictionary sitting there just because I do.

What determines what items show up in your contextual menu on Linux? Maybe I
am mistaken about that. If I show the Services menu it shows how each item
has different context (though, oddly enough, it clearly knows more context
than it shows, for example the options for audio files are shown just in the
"Files and Folders" area, but it clearly only applies to audio files. So not
perfect.

Again, you can work to not understand, but not sure it offers any value.

It is a part of the system AVAILABLE in the application... not by going to
your desktop. That is the point.

When you were able to replicate roughly what I showed you engaged in some
good advocacy. Now you are beginning to realize the overall picture more and
see how Linux is IN THIS AREA behind OS X and you are not handling it well.

Sour grapes is what it comes down to.

At this point you are going out of your way to miss the point. Or maybe you

Show where Linux has the same type of understanding of context and
streamlining. Does not have to be done in the same way as OS X, of course.

But this is a video you will never make. :)

Comes down to you DO get the point you are pretending not to.
