Good grief... your herd is in MAJOR sour grapes more.

OK, to summarize and then, shortly, drop out of this idiotic circus the herd
is pushing (unless we can get you guys to focus on tech).

OS X has a number of pretty cool features that allow you to streamline your
work based on the context:

* PDF Services: folders and apps you can send a PDF version of the file you
are working on from the print dialog
* System Services: allows you to target selections by type, such as files
and folders, images, videos, documents in general, audio files, etc. You can
then run scripts on these. You can also select what programs to have the
options be available in (though this is somewhat limited in capability).
* Sharing: allows for sharing to iCloud or email or through Facebook or
Twitter or the like. Different programs have different options depending on
the context.
* Actions: things which tie into images and PDFs, say in Mail or other apps.

In each case Apple provides some options but you can create others or get
others from third parties. These work SYSTEM wide, with few programs not
tying into them. 

Linux has a small subset of this capability... but it is not as if these
things are the be-all and end-all of computing. Nobody has belittled Linux
for it, nor Windows (which is more like Linux in this way). Nobody has said
Linux is unusable or bad or suggested anyone switch away from Linux because
of this.

But the herd is so insecure they cannot stand the thought or choice. They
cannot stand the thought that Linux is not the best at everything. So they
cry about the sour grapes and they attack.

Utterly pathetic.
