After turning on my usb flatbed scanner Epson Perfection 1650 I start Xsane and it shows on the screen.
When clicking on the preview button or the scan button an error box pops up saying 'Konnte Scanner nicht
starten Operation nicht unterstützt' (Could not start scanner operation not supported).
I get this issue since xsane was updated to version 0.999-12 a few days ago.
The output of scanimage -L is "device `epson2:libusb:002:004' is a Epson GT-8200 flatbed scanner".
In journalctl I found a message concerning xsane and gnome-shell
'gnome-shell[1219]: Couldn't find child [0x5640f14df430 Gjs_ui_windowPreview_WindowPreview:first-child
last-child ("xsane 0.999")] in window slots'.
