I think it is him... he has always been challenged by logic and reason and
been prone to accepting conspiracy theories. He used to be quite vicious in
CSMA, then calmed down, and when he was shown to be wrong about NASA he went
back to being vicious.

This is common in COLA: people who are shown to be wrong get angry... they
take it out on others when they are quite clearly angry with themselves.
