To give you something to work from, here's what I see on a working
amanda installation:

root@hawk:~# ll $( locate ambind)
-rwsr-x--- 1 root backup 14328 Nov  1  2018 /usr/lib/amanda/ambind*
root@hawk:~# file $( locate ambind)
/usr/lib/amanda/ambind: setuid ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, BuildID[sha1]=73f0a9e8b13c3121109114fcfb502afe10afed92, stripped
root@hawk:~# 

This is from the Debian package, version. 1:3.5.1-2+b2.
