The UK has had their revolt of their neglected sanscoulottes(sp?) now. We had ours in 1972. Both were rural, lower class, but very organised and civil votes. And the ruling classes didn't discover the scale of it until the results of the vote got in. This was an earthquake in English politics. And I say English, because Ireland and Scotland have clear majorities to stay. The England+Wales vote is closer to 60% for leave. Which spells the end for the UK. Scotland will leave to stay in the EU, unless a very good alternative is put on the table within 3 months. I cannot see what that will be. With Scotland gone, the Northen Irish may just go for a federal state with the Republic of Ireland. Keep their parliament, legislation etc. but have common defense etc. Which will be a step up from their current status. Time to reform the iso3166 again soon. -- mrr
