I've been a long time ebayer, this account since around 2004, with over 100 
sells/buys.  I bought some towels from Georgia Towels in Ellijay, GA for 
about $7.  They were nothing like the towels in the picture.  I immediately 
put them back in the package to wait for a label to ship them back and the 
owner asked me if I had washed them.  I said hell no, that washing them 
would not make a bit of difference.  Like telling me to was my VW bug and it 
would turn into a Lotus.  I also called the chamber in Ellijay and they have 
no record of this company.

I get another email telling me to wash them, and a picture showing me what 
they would look like.  So I thought, what the hell, I'm doing a load of 
whites, make them happy.  I immediately take them out of the dryer neatly 
stacked with strings hanging all out on the same side.  I email back that I 
had done as requested and of course, they look no different, except now you 
can see all the ugly strings hanging out.  I've bought better wash clothes 
from Walmart for $4 for the same amount of clothes.

Now the seller turns ME over to ebay. Ebay takes 10 minutes and then sides 
with the seller. I file an appeal, ebay tells me that since I washed the 
cloths, I'm not entitled to a refund.  What the hell?  I've had other 
companies offer me a refund if things were as described, and I've even 
turned down the refund when they admit there error.  But this?  I have a 
100% rating as always.

I guess I can quit ebay and turn them into shop rags or something.  Sad 
thing is, I have 20 year old wash cloths that look better than these.  What 
should I do?
