I would think that people who have been beheaded wouldn't be able
to practice any religion. Perhaps you have a level of scientific
knowledge about physiology that I lack.

No such slaughter occurred.
There was, in the year 1033, a slaughter of Jews in Fez. Roughly
6000 Jews were killed by those loyal to Tamim (not the modern day
Sheik of the same name -- just to avoid confusion). However, headdress
was never an aspect of it in any way.

The Knights Templar were Christians. The idea of them
slaughtering other Christians, as you claim, would have never crossed
