Ridiculous claims should never be considered a possible positive claim, until non-exist evidence is found. Especially when the claim is not supported by observation or any data. The lack of evidence is indication of failure to properly support the claim and the claim moves toward the area called post hoc fallacy. The post hoc fallacy then becomes part of dogmatic faith, where idle speculation is given false weight. And it is a simple step to a full blow religion. Agnosticism is simple not a logical or rational thought process. There comes a point in which you either dismiss ridiculous claims or you become one of the faithful. If you continue to stand on the razor, it makes you appear two faced and unable to make up your own mind.
