It is clearer to represent to different action in the name of the
function. So I'd write:
rates->av_dep_amor = dep_int_geo_ratemean_dep_amor(income_ptr, bs_ptr);
rates->av_int_exp = dep_int_geo_ratemean_int_exp(income_ptr, bs_ptr);
