In Nim, literals have iXX appended (3i16 for example).  As is so often
the case, there's a bunch of implicit conversions to make writing
arithmetic expressions easier.  Haskell does not do any implicit
conversions, much to the consternation of beginners, but its type
classes do help to make it simpler than it might otherwise be.
