Not on "the" number line (that's just the reals ordered by magnitude)
but on the PO-number line (as yet not well specified). Of course you
can define a set with such a point but that does not refute Cantor.

That's trivially obvious (if you have the axiom of choice) and does not
refute Cantor either. The question you can't address is how, or even
whether, the countable set of points so removed, one by one, is equal to
the whole set. This picking off of points does not refute Cantor unless
every real occurs at some stage in the step by step removing of points.
You can't prove that they do, and we can prove they don't.

I know this point will baffle you. I apologise in advance. I also note
for others that you did not specify the ordering being used and I don't
really care because all orderings of points (in the usual sense) fail in
the same way.

Ha! Of course he did. You did not see when I stated it as well, did
you? Maybe you did not recognise the notation I used.

Yes, everyone gets that this is your plan. The trouble is you won't
answer the questions that would enable you to learn why you are wrong.
I offered, and you appeared to want to answer them, but that lasted
exactly one post! You clammed up on all of my follow ups, so I must
assume you don't want to know why your PO-points say nothing about
Cantor.

In short, you are wrong either because your PO-points don't include the
reals (or something just like them), so the fact that they are countable
has no impact on Cantor's result, or you are wrong because your
PO-points /do/ include the reals (or something just like them) and they
can't be enumerated like you say.

Of course to you it is simple obvious that every set can be enumerated
by picking the elements, one by one, in some order or other. This will
be a major sticking point.

A feature that makes discussing things with you very tedious is that you
assume everyone else is as slow as you are, but this idea of picking off
the numbers one by one was clear from your very first post. You simply
did not address any of the obvious problems with it.
