In any event, the question isn't spending per se, but rather just what ones' specific priorities are. One measure of success could be to not only have enough for today to do what one wants, but to also be putting away an acceptable amount for ones' plans for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Unfortunately, far too many people today... -hh
