We're both tired of fighting with our operating system and acting like the dated, clunky experience we're given is somehow better than the competition. The filesystems are better than NTFS, I'll give them that much, but they're not better than APFS in any significant way. The desktop experience is also not more elegant than MacOS or noticeably faster than Windows (the latter might appear clunky, but it still loads and responds as quickly on the same hardware). It's definitely more private than Windows and MacOS are, but what does it matter when we learn that all of us are being surveilled regardless of what operating system we run? -- CrudeSausage MacBook Air M4 iPhone 13 Friendly Apple zealot
