When I started with 3D printing Thingiverse was the universal place
to find and share model designs, back when it was run by Makerbot
and wasn't full of ads (which I block).

I've noticed that alternative websites have since appeared, but I'm
not clear on the merits of them. What website do you prefer for
finding and sharing printable 3D models?

I'd personally like one which works without Javascript, in basic
(old fashioned) web browsers, which Thingiverse has become useless
at. But that's probably a hopeless search.
