Basically right, but you are over-reaching. Not all linux s'ware has 
good docs. They're written by so many different groups and individuals, 
some committed to docs, some not so much.

As for M$, might I first suggest you use a less vulgar insult than 
Micros**t? You turn people off, many who would otherwise send your posts 
to friends etc., where they might actually persuade people, won't do so. 
Examples of better insults: "M$", "Windoze".

But your point is right. A classic from M$ from way back was the help in 
the printed DOS manual that said something like: "If your hard drive 
fails, see the help in <name-of-a-file-on-the-failed-hd>." How did 
anyone write that and not see the problem?
