I think it's obvious to everyone here...you're science fiction writer with writer's block.

Writer's block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, 
in which an author loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. 
The condition ranges in difficulty from coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce a work for years.


For many writers the worst part of the writing experience is the very beginning, when 
they're sitting at the kitchen table staring at a blank sheet of paper or in front of 
that unblinking and perfectly empty computer monitor. "I know you are, but what am I?" is the only thing that comes to mind.
