Sorry, you're correct. I reviewed the grammar rules for pre-processing
numbers, before writing that, and for some reasons my eyes just skipped
right over the "pp-number identifier-nondigit" production. If I'd
thought about it just a little bit, I would have realized that, with
that misunderstanding, neither 3U nor 4L would parse as pre-processing
numbers, which of course they should.
David - please ignore that whole part of my previous message. Only the
following part is relevant:
