What I do, is fire up the Cx file manager in Android, select "network", 
then start its internal FTP server. Then reach that server from Linux 
with any standard tools in my LAN.

It works for me, easy and fast, because I am used to these kind of 
tools. And the computer source of the files I'm now transferring doesn't 
have BT configured.
