Now, given one observation, the other can be predicted only probablistically. Now, the statistics differ between classical, local physics, and QM. As we know, the experiments support QM. Hence, reality is non-local. This was Bell's great insight. But he depreciated it, calling it a simple idea. yep, simple and obvious... after someone shows it to you - This aspect of the theory was there from the outset.
