| Subject | Codec : Do I patent to protect or what? |
| From | Ernst <Ernst_Berg@sbcglobal.net> |
What do we do when we have a useful Codec? I have been thinking that I should write a paper and get credit for it but also I started to think I should ask about the commercial side. Any advice of what to do? It looks like a den of snakes when I read about all the Patent wars. Personally I don't have a grand hope of being rich but at the same time I would hate to see misfortune as my only solice. What do people do? How do we go about contributing to science without being murdered by it. That was a joke but the question about Codecs and what to do isn't.
