i have better things to do that test thousands of apps to see which
ones incorporate the functionality.

the fact is that the functionality exists and anyone can use it. many
apps already have.

here's how:

  You can use the comgooglemaps URL scheme to launch the Google Maps
  app for iOS and perform searches, direction requests, and display map
  views.
