there's absolutely nothing wrong with what i said.

i explained the scenarios in my very first post, way back on 1/17:

they certainly do in yours, as they do everywhere.

i'm well aware of that, and that's nothing more than a lame diversion
anyway. 

.com is by far the most common case, which is why it has been
automatically appended for roughly two decades.

it's *that* common of a case that the iphone had a dedicated .com key.

that is, until last fall when someone decided it didn't look good so
the .com key was removed in ios 7 along with the / key. 

the .com and other domains are now hidden beneath the period key,
something that's impossible to figure out without having heard it or
read it elsewhere. yet another step backwards in usability.

nope. it's not one specific case. as i said, i explained the relevant
scenarios. you just weren't paying any attention to what was posted and
still aren't. 

you just can't admit you screwed up, can you? hilarious, really.
absolutely hilarious.
