I.P. address notification of change or setting up static address

Show all headers | View raw

Are these accurate instructions for setting a static I.P. address?:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3s-We2YdQc

I'm trying to get a static I.P. address so that my own clicks on my Web
site are excluded from my Web site hits.

Or should I use the program called "I.P. Notification" instead?
