That is probably the dumbest statement you've ever made. Schools are
_exactly_ where organized sports should be taught and practised. It is
also where feelings of pride in your accomplishments and in the
school's storied history of success should be fostered.

Teaching about physical activity and the promotion of healthy habits
is something there should be more, not less of in public schools. The
only practise I would abandon is the idea of letting a student pass
regardless of how poor his results are because of his athletic
abilities.
