I mean they can MBA a good quarter or even a good year by shuffling around shit for their shareholders, shrinking the burgers, or even getting disabled people to work there so they can pay them less than minimum wage.
It's just gonna hurt their brand more. Since before covid I barely ate mcdonalds and every year or so, get the urge to have a McBurger and every single fucking time my thought would be:  This is why you haven't eaten here in a year and a half.
Smaller burgers, the chicken nuggets are shriveled jokes.... the time that made me commit to never going back was two years ago;   I ordered a cheeseburger and I got a HALF SLICE OF CHEESE!!
A fucking HALF SLICE.  See I don't expect excellence from minimum wage workers,  I feel bad for them and stay out of their way, forgive their small mistakes, and am contented to get what I pay for.  Be it a fish sandwich instead of a quarter pounder or missing fries, or even cold food.
I get it bud.

But a HALF FUCKING PIECE OF CHEESE that means the poor sap making burgers for couch-cushion wages, saw that stack of sliced cheese, the half piece on the top, and instead of throwing it away, giving me 1.5 pieces of chesse, or even eating it and giving me the next one .... they decided that not sending that inventory out to a customer would be unfair to the good shareholders of mcdonalds and whatever PoS small business swine is cashing in on his work.

There's no point in mcdonalds anymore.  Not even if you can appreciate the corpo-weird-science food they make with their scientifically balanced taste profiles and whatever else happens.
The price is another thing.  They are TOTALLY VERTICSALLY INTEGRATED they should be able to beat out nearly every other fast food place but I can go get a fucking salmon burrito at a neighborhood place for the same price as their more premium sandwiches?
GTFO BOOOO!
