The people who produce Bibles, along with other Christian 
items, pay for materials and labor to produce those items. 
Are you saying they should not be able to make a living
because they're spreading the Word of God? Because if you
are, you're going against one of the teachings of Jesus.

Before Jesus was arrested and crucified, he instructed His
disciples on how to go about spreading the Gospel. Here's
part of that instruction: 

[quoting Jesus] "When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace 
to this house.' If someone who promotes peace is there, 
your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to 
you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give 
you, for the worker deserves his wages." [end quote] Luke 10:5-7 

The worker deserves his wages. Additionally, the Apostle
Paul wrote, "In the same way, the Lord has commanded that 
those who preach the gospel should receive their living 
from the gospel." 1 Corinthians 9:14 

The Apostle Paul did work a second job to make a living
while he preached the Gospel. And I'm sure there are some
people who produce Christian items who are in a position
to give them away without charge. But someone has to pay
for the material and labor of the workers who produce them.
