No, if they were graphics they would still be properly selectable, and if there was an `alt' attribute, its value would probably show up in the copied content. Programming is based on logic, not mysticism. If you do not know the answer, you should better do not answer at all instead of posting such superstitious nonsense. In this case, first each word is being made the content of an invalid `cufontext' element within an invalid `cufon' element, and the `cufontext' elements are hidden by setting their width and height to 0, and their overflow to hidden. Then the content of `cufontext' elements is being painted as paths on a `canvas' element that is the child of the corresponding `cufon' element each, using an ECMAScript implementation (e. g. JavaScript). This is facilitated using the Cufon.replace(…) and Cufon.now() calls in lines 36 and 37 of the script resource, /js/index, included at line 514 of the main XHTML document. The calls are part of YUI CUFON, as used in line 44 of /page/-/cwa-union/js/source.js, which is included at line 513 of the main XHTML document. Obviously this approach cannot be recommended. > Disable JavaScript and you can select the text. Correct. PointedEars -- When all you know is jQuery, every problem looks $(olvable).
