Hi, The Terrence Tao paper here is full of "right and natural". Its a total deflationary philosophy mess, that makes absolutely no sense: "In a human-written proof, the parts of the argument that the author found difficult typically retain some natural friction: " [..] An excessively AI-polished proof may sand away both the “artificial” friction (typos, awkward phrasing, disorganization) and the “natural” friction, leaving a text that is easy to read and hard to learn from." Finally, even publication is not the last stage. Key results should ultimately become part of the definitive textbooks and reference material of their subject, in the form in which they are taught to the next generation of students. This process of canonicalization — in which a result is restated in its natural generality, given its right proof rather than its first proof, connected to its neighbors, and absorbed into the standard toolkit — is the slowest stage of all. Mathematics in the age of AI https://arxiv.org/html/2608.16753v1 While tools like macsyma are already almost 80 years old. Now the picture is current AI creates an oracle, that can speak evil, creating a third grade artificiality over the already existing artificiality of math. The irony of all, the Navier Stokes counter example, is even not a proof. But a model. Not everything in math is "proof theoretically" explainable, some things invoke "model theory". What a moron!
