	Har4ly so. The culture war is led by those who want to deny
the gender variants rights as human beings presently.
	Probably less than !% of the populace are gender variant and
the only Transgender ideology is that the the people who are in
discomfort because of anatomical disparities should be given palliative
care.
	The dominate side of the discussion comes from the so-Called
Christian Right who reject the idea that transgenderism points to the
existence of the Spirit or even perhaps a soul generated beyond the
physical.
	It has been about 60 years since I read the story mentioned.
