That is just your usual pseudo-scientific word salad.

Instead, two _events_ can be spacelike-_separated_, namely when they are

  e₁ = (x₁, t₁)

  e₂ = (x₂, t₂)

and

  c (t₂ − t₁)² − (x₂ − x₁)² < 0,

where c is the speed of light.
