s|b, >> I disagree. > > We can agree to disagree. Start with the common sense that if you can't get yourself to save money* to buy something, than how would you get yourself make monthly payments ? * because you always, either forced or habitual, spend everything you have. Thats the biggest problem. Also, besides asking friends and/or family, western Europe has got a number of possibilities to inform oneself about the problems connected with and the real cost of buying on credit. > Usually the ones at the bottom of the ladder. Scumbags like Klarna > take advantage of that. As I said, just like a number of other companies. >> Otherwise you could blame car-manufacturers for people speeding, and >> sellers of expensive bling-bling (rolex watches, heavy gold neck-chains, >> etc) for the buyers being robbed of it, etc. > > That's what we call 'een kromme vergelijking' (apples and oranges). Really ? And pardon me, but I always get an odd feeling when someone claims something but forgets to support it. :-| But lets dissect the first one : "Otherwise you could blame car-manufacturers for people speeding," - You are driving a car, and can see the maximum speed signs along the way. - You know that its not a good idea to be speeding, but you choose to do it anyway. - You get busted. - You claim its not because of your own choice, but because the car-manufacturers fast(er than the current speed limit) car has tempted you to drive too fast. I think it quite nicely fits your idea that the person choosing to do something may not be blamed for that choice. > You disagree, so let's leave it at that. I think a person is responsible for his own choices. You don't seem to think so. Regards, Rudy Wieser
