He was one of Hegseth's deputies. He must've said "no" to something Hegseth asked him to do. I touched on SCO, which is in meeting today and tomorrow, up to when it was formed. It has gone a major change as well. In matters of security, it does not see itself limited to Asia anymore. In those respects it is a _world_ security organization. So anything military that happens in the world, it takes note and adjusts to it militarily. What about Iran in SCO? She did not trust it initially at all. China had become fond of USA market and acted quite "teen"ishly about it, not knowing what it was dealing with. And Russian people were still struggling to become "European". So at the beginning, when invited, Iran showed the middle finger to them. She did not consider them good enough to be of any security use whatsoever. But she continued to closely study it. At about 2005, Iran decided to accept the seat of an "observer" in SCO. AS soon as Iran accepted that, Pakestan and India accepted similar seats, knowing that what Iran does is vital to her security and therefore must be vital to their own securities. For a long time the three countries stayed as just Observer. Then about 8 years ago, Pakestan and India both accepted full membership. Iran was still adamant. Russia and China were still acting like "teens" about European and Americans and that was not good enough for Iran. At last in 2023, more than 20 years after SCO's establishment, Iran felt enough maturity among Russians and Chinese to accept full membership into SCO, and a year after Belarus joined as full member. See how long it took Belarus to join SCO and learn from it! It took that long for the Russians and people of Belarus to fully understand what creatures they have been dealing with in Europeans and the Americans. It was only in 2024 that they saw where on the Earth is safe for them and where it is not! This tells you how immature and "teenish" their grasp of the Europeans and Americans were. All the wars, all the disasters, all the rearrangements of borders, all the creation and removal of new countries in Europe, all the colonies they had made around the world, had not taught the necessary lessons to them. Only in 2024 Belarusian and essentially all the Russians began to understand what type of humans they have to their western side. Mongolia and Afghanestan, the two countries who are extremely suspicious of Russia and China (almost enemies), are still Observers.
