I think the strategy that Iran can nuke all the American military bases 
in Europe with missiles that she already has, within an hour of start of 
a nuclear war isn't a good deterrent. Killing American soldiers never 
helped stop American wars around the globe.

Only the ability to attack mainland can create the necessary deterrent. 
Tens of millions of lives must be at stake. Otherwise a yahoo type of 
humanoid doesn't feel it at all. Out of sight, out of mind. That's a yahoo.
