I just bought a 2017 iMac running Ventura (so I can run the latest Firefox), right beside it is a 2014 iMac running Mojave. I've been dowloading a lot of new apps that will run on the 2017 iMac and it really gets tiresome going through the kabuki dance of "Open Anyway" in the Privacy & Security preference every time I want to launch a new app I downloaded from MacUpdate.com. I'll have to say I enjoy working on the 2014 iMac running Mojave better than working in Ventura. Why does Apple keep making their desktop GUI's weirder as time goes on? The iPhone revolution I guess.
