How well would a tube camera have reacted to having its HT and grid feed removed when its power supply was removed (in addition to the signal pins)? I suppose capacitors in the AC-DC stage would mean that the HT would fade gradually rather than stopping very suddenly. I imagine the one thing you want to be *certain* of is that the anode voltage fades away before the deflection circuitry fails, otherwise you get a burnt spot on the tube face... A camera showing an of its cable being unplugged reminds me of my wife using an Alexa to turn off the Kasa smartplug that powers that Alexa...
