I buy supermarket own brand which is probably Kerrygold in a plain wrapper.

Cheese? Ireland nothing special, rest of EU infinitely better - so many 
types available.

It's the one thing I do buy from the EU, that and some wines, although 
it's just as likely to S American,  S African, Australian or New  Zealand.

Or even middle eastern - had Lebanese wine once. Not bad.

Yes. It is still being used as a lever to 'control the UK' . E.g. we are 
not allowed to zero rate VAT on domestic fuel because that would break 
the agreement in N Ireland as peole would buy heating oil in the North 
and drive it to the South, and with 'no borders' no one would stop them.

Most UK political class never wanted to leave the EU.  They love all the 
bureaucracy and the freedom from prosecution and the corruption.
