  See VanguardLH's recent 'Where did the Clock app/widget go?' post/
thread.

  He 'lost' his Clock app and installed a version from Google Play. That
version behaved The Old Way (TM).

  After installing that version, the next problem is how to prevent it
from be updated again to The New Way (TM)! :-)
