I occupied the desk of someone who had moved to another section, so had to field lots of phone calls for him. Unfortunately, the phone number had several eights and nines in it. My French is heavily influenced by Belgian French, so I'm comfortable with words like "nonante". That meant I had to translate back into Parisian French when giving phone numbers.
