Iran has a few MIG-29s and YAK-130 fighters that are still functional.
Nothing much beyond that. And most of them are only protecting Tehran's
skies. Every time I think of that I get more pissed and depressed.
There's only so much that defensive missiles can do against enemies.
Proof of that is what we see in Israel. And Iran has kept them mainly to
use against soft targets on the borders, preventing enemy soldiers from
entering Iran. This, they do it well. But how can they protect Tehran
from getting bombed? What are they doing up there flying over Tehran,
over and over?
