Once, when I was testing cartoonify apps, full-page video loud obnoxious
ads started showing up IN THE APPs which I killed with Android 13 Galaxy
Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS > 
   Private DNS provider hostname = adblock.dns.mullvad.net

If someone doesn't have a private dns set up, they can't complain about ads 
(why? Becausde it's the first thing anyone would do to prevent seeing ads).

Another time a one-page ad popped up suddenly, each only once a day, which
turned out to be T-Mobile spam called "Sliide" from a T-Mobile app that I
had deleted but which came back after the software update was done.

Other than that, I've never seen an ad on Android (or Windows) that I can
remember, but my phone & computer are set up from the start for privacy.
