But in real life away from Usenet it is a phrase you hardly ever hear. People in real life do not dedicate their waking hours to pursuing kooks or calling people kooks. Kooks are purely a USENET invention to further break people apart and separate us into an us and them situation. The fact that hardly anyone can agree as to who is a kook and who is not is further evidence of the superficiality of this distinction. Personally I am a unifier. I believe murdered Jo Cox's statement that there is more that unites us than divides us. Therefore I propose that the whole idea of kooks in AUK be scrapped and a more realistic real world picture be adopted.
