Once you pin him down, as you noticed, it turns out to be a very trivial issue with one particular DM on one particular distro... even, presumably, one particular *version* of said DM and/or distro... making the fix, even on the system in question, pretty much a trivial thing. Oh my, LGX is about to come crumbling down. Hee hee.
