complete nonsense.

the battery can be replaced, it just requires a screwdriver rather than
a fingernail.

apple will replace the battery in an apple store while you wait, as
will other service providers if you don't want to go to an apple store
(or don't live near one), or you can order a battery online and tools
(if you don't have them) and do it yourself.
