Oh dear. I wonder if customers know? Also, customers of other providers who use TalkTalk. https://uk.yahoo.com/finance/news/national-security-alert-talktalk-risks-190520368.html "Whitehall is on high alert because of the threat that TalkTalk, the broadband provider, may go into administration within days and open up a national security vulnerability. Security officials responsible for Britain's most critical infrastructure are in close daily contact with senior civil servants and telecoms regulators as they seek to ensure that TalkTalk is able to keep operating in the event of an insolvency. It is feared that disruption to services could hit the Ministry of Defence and weaken Britain's security at an unstable moment in international affairs. "

From today's Times:- "The company supplies telecommunications services to a small number of Ministry of Defence sites as a third-party reseller, but it is thought that the sales process is unlikely to interrupt the services since there is at least one other supplier to prevent disruption." There’s the consumer facing ISP and a rather more professional outfit supplying backhaul. The latter has value, the former practically no value. Their retail customers are probably the ones that no rational ISP would want as customers. Those customers were largely focussed on getting service at the lowest possible price, and many of them are poor credit risks. They aren’t really going to add value to any business taking them on in bulk. The government via ofcom seems concerned that some very vulnerable customers are at risk of losing service. If no willing volunteer company comes forward I can see BT being arm twisted into being the supplier of last resort.

I was perhaps lucky to move away from Co-op broadband, as my line was a ADSL talktalk line. I could have been high and dry, judging by some of the comments on X about not getting responses from TT. I wonder how many other ISP use talktalk lines?

Then move customers over to your own network and get rid of the old network and as many of its staff/offices as you can ,100% being the goal. I speak from personal experience
