#180633 — Apple Mail, date sent

SubjectApple Mail, date sent
Message-ID<m383kbFppo4U1@mid.individual.net>
Apple Mail shows the date/time received, for messages - I'd like to see when
they were sent.

I don't think there is any way to change that (I believe there used to be,
long ago) without going into the headers of each message.

Is there a way?

Right-klick on the header line of the pane and choose and add "Sent".

Right click the headers, tick "date sent". Gets you the additional
column.

I am afraid I am a weirdo who uses the default view.

Took me a couple of minutes to even work out how to go back to default.
Can't say I'm a fan! But useful to see that you can flip back and forth
if you need to see date sent. Not so useful if you *always* want it
sorted by date sent in default view, no...

Ugh, except it loses your message selection on switch. I blame Tim
Apple; he only uses an iPad.

    Cheers - Jaimie
