Downloaded but have created a stand alone installer on a USB stick with the intention of doing a clean install and re-install only those apps I really want right now. I have a TM backup so can put back my documents and other data not stored in the cloud. MacSOUP seemed to be the only 32 bit app on Mojave but I’ve weaned myself off that now! -- Cheers, Alan

You appear to have used this App to post your message ..... https://apps.apple.com/us/app/newstap-usenet-newsreader/id292410356 As far as I'm aware, one cannot use NewsTap on an Apple *computer*. You may note from my header info. that I'm using Thunderbird to post here. What will YOU use for reading and writing to newsgroups on a computer?

That's a developer decision/action, not an Apple one. If they do, NewsTap will need a complete overhaul before it's anything like a Mac app in style and actions. I'd be mildly surprised if they do just tick the box in XCode and then toss it as-is to the App Store.
